Final Avatar/Caricature

Smudge all other areas as explained in image 2 including hair and costumes. The final image must look similar to
Image-8. Increase its brightness and contrast by going to Image>>Adjustments>>Brightness/Contrast. The brightness and contrast are increased in Image - 9.

Tips and Shortcuts:
  • To merge layers: Select the required layer and place the layer to be merged below the selected layer and press Ctrl+E.
  • Loss Tool (L): Select loss tool and press left mouse and select required area on image and release mouse. To change Loss tool into Polygon Loss tool press Alt key and click the loss tool and keep Alt key in pressed condition and draw.
  • Press and hold Shift key while draging transform selection handle. Holding shift key ensures the enlargement proportions.
  • To sample the areas while smudging use Clone Stamp Tool. To define the area to be sampled select Clone Stamp Tool, Hold Alt key, click on the area to be sampled, release Alt key and draw. The defined are will be copied to the new area while you draw.
Realisitic Avatars
For Realistic Avatar do not change any features. Just follow the above step except transformation. Below is the example of realistic Avatar
